The book, printed on post-consumer recycled paper, includes 180 coupons worth over $4000 in savings and freebies from local green businesses and services.
All products and services listed in the guide must have met at least one of the following criteria:
- reduces environmental impact
- increases individual health, well-being and personal growth
- involves socially responsible products
- contributes to building a strong community
Coupons are included for natural product retailers, bicycle shops, homeopaths, yoga studios, organic food stores, fairly traded goods, organic spas, nutritionists, cooking classes, vegan and vegetarian restaurants, healthy living workshops and more.
