Warning issued on Wild Vineyard health products

January 2, 2008

Health Canada is advising Canadians not to use unauthorized products manufactured by Wild Vineyard because of their potential health risks. Wild Vineyard is not authorized to manufacture, package, label or import natural health products in Canada. As such, the government is concerned about the quality of these products and the subsequent health risk they may pose to Canadians.

Products made by Wild Vineyard have not been manufactured according to Health Canada’s good manufacturing practices. Failure to manufacture products by standards and practices for quality assurance, product testing, manufacturing, storage and distribution of natural health products could affect the quality of the natural health products. Health Canada has evidence that some products are inappropriately labeled and contain heavy metal contamination with substances such as lead.

The products are advertised as natural health products to be used for a wide range of conditions. They are available at retail stores and over the internet and are not authorized for sale in Canada.

Symptoms of exposure to heavy metals may include, but are not limited to, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, muscle cramps, diarrhea, heart abnormalities, anemia, bone, liver, kidney and nervous system problems.

Health Canada advises consumers who have used these products and are concerned about their health to contact a health practitioner for advice. Retailers are advised to remove these items from their shelves, and consumers should return any Wild Vineyard products to the place of purchase.

I would like to warn people that Terry Bell is also the founder of a practice called “Sho-Tai”. My husband and I signed up for a Sho-Tai session to help us get conceive and were asked to buy Wild Vineyard herbs. I believe that all Sho-Tai practioners suggest herbs from Wild Vineyard. Imagine our horror when we discovered this Health Canada advisory!!! Stay away from this scam!!!

I was horrified when I found out that I was put on Wild Vineyard herbs. I guess we need close people like them down if they continue to sell products like this.

I came upon this site hoping to find a product made by Wild Vineyard & was shocked to discover the product I had been taking on the Health Canada advisory list. I’m appalled with this discovery & I’m hoping I did not take enough of this product to seriously affect my health!
