Green Fleet Expo
May 23, 2008
The third annual Green Fleet Expo will be held at Black Creek Pioneer Village on Tuesday, May 27. Corporations that employ green practices in managing their vehicle fleets can help reduce emissions and become more environmentally responsible. The GFX ‘08 is a one-day event for fleet managers across Canada to learn about greening their vehicle fleet.
This year’s event will feature informative seminars and test drives. In the morning, experts are scheduled to speak about the latest green vehicle technology, hybrid vehicle maintenance and cleaner fuels, followed by test drive opportunities in the afternoon. Throughout the day, participants can examine green fleet displays and network with peers from across the industry.
The Green Fleet Expo showcases green technologies now being used in Hamilton and Toronto city vehicles. Fleet managers and other officials can test drive the vehicles and learn about ways to reduce fuel use and exhaust emissions that harm the environment. Hybrid-electric, natural gas, biodiesel, ethanol and fuel cell technologies are among the featured displays.
